SELECTED WORKS
The stories behind the experience.
These are a few of the experiences that shaped how I lead, collaborate, solve problems, and help creative teams do their best work.
MANHATTAN MOVEMENT & ARTS CENTER
Creating clarity in a fast-moving creative environment.
Theater Management • Operations • Live Events • Team Leadership
The Opportunity
When I joined Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, there wasn't a clear operational structure for clients or staff. Questions, concerns, and day-to-day decisions often lacked a consistent point of contact, creating unnecessary confusion in an environment that depended on smooth coordination.
My Role
I became that central point of communication, developing streamlined processes that made it easier for staff, instructors, performers, and clients to find answers and move forward with confidence. I also introduced clear pricing structures, modernized policies, and helped increase revenue while ensuring the organization remained competitive within the New York market.
My Approach
Operations should create confidence, not complexity. Whether I was supporting a live performance, resolving an unexpected challenge, or helping a family navigate their experience, my focus was always the same: anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and create an environment where people felt supported.
What It Reinforced
This experience reinforced my confidence in trusting my instincts, taking thoughtful risks, and creating clarity in environments where people need it most.
AMERICAN FILM INSTITUTE
Bringing calm and clarity to high-pressure productions.
Production Operations · Crew Support · Compliance · Confidentiality
The Opportunity
During the COVID-19 pandemic, film productions faced an entirely new set of challenges. Keeping productions moving required balancing strict health and safety protocols with the realities of filmmaking, while working with cast and crew who were navigating uncertainty, frustration, and constantly changing requirements.
My Role
As Health & Safety Manager and COVID Compliance Officer at the AFI Conservatory, I coordinated mandatory testing and contact tracing, maintained confidential health information, communicated protocols, and worked directly with cast, crew, and production teams to help keep sets operating safely and consistently.
My Approach
Rules alone weren't enough. People needed clear information, consistency, and someone willing to listen when the process became frustrating. I learned to handle resistance with compassion while remaining firm about the requirements that protected the production.
My goal was never to create obstacles for production. It was to help productions move forward safely and confidently.
What It Reinforced
This experience reinforced that leadership isn't measured by how you respond when everything goes according to plan. It's measured by how calmly and clearly you guide people when it doesn't.
LA SKINS FILM FESTIVAL
Turning preparation into a seamless audience experience.
Event Production · Venue Operations · Talent Coordination · Guest Experience
The Opportunity
The LA Skins Film Festival Awards Gala brought together filmmakers, industry professionals, celebrity hosts, honorees, and guests for a live awards ceremony where countless moving pieces had to come together seamlessly. Behind the scenes, venue limitations, seating logistics, talent needs, and production details all had to be managed without disrupting the experience in the room.
My Role
As Gala Awards Coordinator, I managed venue logistics, guest and talent coordination, seating, and the many details required to keep the ceremony moving. When unexpected challenges arose, my responsibility was to solve them quickly and quietly so the audience and participants could remain focused on the event.
My Approach
Preparation matters most when something hasn't been prepared for. When I realized the lighting and audio crew hadn't been given cueing for the ceremony, I quickly created a handwritten stage management guide from the event program so they had clear cues to follow throughout the show.
It wasn't part of my assigned responsibilities. It was simply what the production needed in that moment.
What It Reinforced
Great productions succeed when people are willing to step beyond their job description, solve the problem in front of them, and keep the focus on the audience's experience.
C&M MEIDIA LDT.
Helping leaders focus on what matters most.
Executive Partnership · Priority Management · Confidentiality · Anticipatory Support
The Opportunity
Supporting executives means far more than managing calendars or coordinating logistics. It means creating the space for leaders to focus on the decisions only they can make by quietly managing the countless details that compete for their time and attention.
My Role
Throughout my career supporting executives and production leaders, I've served as a trusted partner who anticipates needs, filters competing priorities, and keeps projects moving forward. Whether coordinating schedules, managing confidential information, or acting as the first point of contact for clients and collaborators, my role has always been the same: remove unnecessary obstacles so leaders can stay focused on the work that matters most.
My Approach
The best support is proactive, not reactive. While working as Personal Assistant and Office Manager at C&M Media Ltd., I learned an executive's priorities so well that I could often anticipate which industry events deserved their time before they ever reached their desk.
By organizing invitations, securing tickets, and managing scheduling in advance, I reduced decision fatigue and allowed them to focus on higher-level priorities. That's how I approach every partnership: pay attention to the details, think several steps ahead, and quietly solve problems before they become distractions.
What It Reinforced
Great support isn't about saying yes to every request. It's about understanding the bigger picture, communicating honestly, and bringing thoughtful solutions that help people make better decisions.
JAZZYANGEL PRODUCTIONS
Creating the stories I couldn't find.
Development · Writing · Producing · Directing · Creative Leadership
The Opportunity
JazzyAngel Productions began with a simple question:
What if the stories I wanted to tell didn't exist yet?
As an actor, I often found myself being considered for the same narrow stereotypes. I wanted to tell love stories, thrillers, comedies, and character-driven films where people were defined by their humanity rather than reduced to a label. Creating my own work became a way to challenge those expectations.
Over time, that purpose grew beyond me. Today, the company exists to champion original storytelling and create opportunities for voices that haven't always had the same opportunity to be heard.
My Role
Building an independent production company meant learning every stage of filmmaking, from development and casting to producing and collaboration. Every project became an opportunity to better understand not only how films are made, but how creative teams work together to bring an idea to life.
Developing my feature, Do You Trust Me, has been one of the most rewarding parts of that journey, challenging me to grow as a writer, producer, and creative leader while continuing to refine my voice as a storyteller.
My Approach
I believe great ideas can come from anywhere, and great collaboration begins with respect. I value people's time, talent, and commitment, and I strive to create an environment where everyone feels their contribution matters.
The strongest productions aren't built on hierarchy. They're built on shared purpose.
What It Reinforced
Stories matter because they allow us to experience lives, perspectives, and possibilities beyond our own. The more voices we invite into the conversation, the more compassion, empathy, and understanding we create through the work.
GYMBOREE PLAY & MUSIC
Creating confidence through communication.
Arts & Music Leadership · Early Childhood Development · Communication · Client Relations
The Opportunity
For more than a decade, I had the privilege of guiding young children and their families through some of the earliest stages of learning and development. While every class followed a curriculum, no two children or families experienced it the same way.
My Role
Beyond leading music, art, and play classes, I helped parents understand the science behind early childhood development and how to support their child's individual pace of learning. My role wasn't simply to teach activities. It was to create an environment where children felt safe enough to explore and parents felt confident enough to support them.
My Approach
Every child processes the world differently. Rather than expecting children to adapt to the classroom, I believe it's the classroom's responsibility to meet children where they are.
That same mindset shaped how I worked with families: listening first, observing carefully, communicating clearly, and helping parents understand that progress happens one step at a time.
What It Reinforced
The strongest relationships are built by listening first. When people feel understood, they become more confident, more engaged, and more willing to grow.
